Jami Primmer earned a degree in Applied Design in Art Furniture, studying at both San Diego State and San Francisco State Universities. Eventually a move to Chicago inspired Jami towards a Master's in Architecture. After a period of research and study in Rome, Italy, she returned to Chicago and worked professionally as an Architect. Jami also participated in local theater, studied improvisation and wrote for the stage. 

Jami's approach is enriched by her hands-on construction abilities, an architectural eye, photography skills and a theater background which melds into an ever-enduring passion for visual storytelling.

Jami's career has been cultivated by some of the industry's finest practitioners with credits that include Jordan Peele's CANDYMAN, Steven Soderbergh’s CONTAGION, John Wells's SHAMELESS, and the Wachowski sisters' SENSE8. Jami's experience ranges from big budget & independent studio projects to commercial work, theater sets, musical performances, web series and music videos. 

Jami finds the unique challenges of the business exhilarating and thrives on the collaborative atmosphere that makes the film industry special. Pulled by her curious nature, Jami loves traveling the world and enjoys the outdoors with her friends and family.
